MDM Engagement Roles#
MDM Engagement Roles define the various stakeholders involved in or affected by the delivery of the product. These roles include key participants who influence or are impacted by the development, implementation, and operation of the MDM solution.

| Product Owner | Defines and prioritizes MDM features and capabilities, ensuring the solution meets business needs and delivers maximum value to data consumers |
| Porgram Manager | Oversees the end-to-end delivery of the MDM initiative, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. |
| Business Analyst | Gather requirements, define use cases, document data flows and transformation logic. |
| Data Steward | Maintain data quality, resolve data issues, enforce governance rules. |
| Data Governance Lead | Define data policies, standards, and metadata definitions. |
| Solution Architect | Design MDM solution architecture (data model, integrations, platforms). |
| Data Engineer | Implement data flows, matching/merging, survivorship logic in the MDM tool. Create ETL jobs to ingest source data into MDM (using Informatica CDI, CAI, etc.) . Build APIs, events, or file-based interfaces between MDM and external systems. |
| Integration Architect | Define integration strategy,architecture,framework while addressing scalability,security and performance requirements |
| Project Manager | Manage timeline, budget, scope, risks, and stakeholder communication. |
| Test Lead/QA | Define test strategy, execute IQ/OQ/PQ/UAT, manage defects. |
| Change Manager | Handle training, adoption, communication, and user onboarding. |
| L1/L2 Support Analyst | Address user queries, monitor jobs, perform routine support. |
