Subscription Options

Step 1: Register and Navigate to Course Catalog

  • Register with your Novo email (suggested) or personal email at the Databricks official portal
  • Navigate to the course catalog
  • Use the filters at the top to customize your learning path based on your needs
  • Filter by Price or Subscription preference (free or paid)
    • Note: Free courses contain the same content as paid ones, but paid subscriptions include hands-on labs
Language Selection

Step 2: Select Your Preferred Language

  • Use the Language filter to choose content in your preferred language
  • Multiple language options are available for many courses
  • This ensures you can learn effectively in a language you're comfortable with
Skill Level Selection

Step 3: Choose Your Skill Level

  • Select the appropriate skill level filter based on your experience
  • Options typically include:
    • Beginner - For those new to Databricks or the subject
    • Intermediate - For users with some experience
    • Advanced - For experienced practitioners looking to deepen knowledge
  • This ensures content matches your current expertise level
Job Role Selection

Step 4: Filter by Job Role

  • Select content specific to your job role or desired career path
  • Common roles include:
    • Data Engineer
    • Data Scientist
    • Data Analyst
    • Machine Learning Engineer
    • Platform Administrator
  • After completing trainings, raise a request in Novo Access for the appropriate entitlement to access the Azure Databricks sandbox environment

Novo Access#

Before you raise access in Novo Access, you need to have an adminxxxxx user. Below are the steps to raise elevated access for your admin account:

Novo Access Login

Step 1: Request CORP Admin Account

  • Login to NovoAccess: https://novoaccess.corp.novocorp.net/identityiq/
  • Click "Account Management" → "Create Personal Account"
  • Choose Application as "Corporate Active Directory" and click Continue
  • Choose Account Type "Admin" and click Submit
PIM Setup

Step 2: Configure Unified PIM

  • Once your manager and AD team approve the account, it will be added to the Unified PIM
  • After receiving your admin account, raise "Unified PIM: Corepas User Basic" in NovoAccess
  • This will store your admin account password in PIM
